 E’ una
tipica casa colonica, situata nella piana tra Lucca e Collodi, che risale alla metà del XIX secolo. L’attuale proprietaria l’ha ristrutturata di recente con grande passione e con un intervento di tipo conservativo, in linea con la tradizione architettonica rurale toscana. Dalla facciata, lasciata in buona parte in pietra e mattoni, agli interni, con travi di legno, pavimenti in cotto, scale in pietra, camini d’epoca e in una camera anche con affreschi decorativi. I colori pastello, sia in interni che in esterni, dal rosa albicocca al verde salvia, dal viola malva al giallo ocra, ricordano la terra di Toscana in tutte le sue sfumature.
“Il Mattoncino”, ai piedi delle celebri colline lucchesi, era originariamente diviso in tre spazi, ora convertiti in case da vacanza per affitti settimanali. L’antica stalla era l’attuale Casa Elsa, a cui solo in seguito fu aggiunto un ulteriore piano. Il Fienile, invece, ospitava al piano terra le cantine e al primo piano, raggiungibile solo con una ripida scala a pioli, lo spazio dove veniva raccolto il fieno. Il Rustico è la parte più antica della casa e vi si respira ancora l'atmosfera di un tempo. Quest’ultimo viene per gran parte dell’anno riservato per il proprietario e viene affittato solamente quando il proprietario non può recarsi in Toscana. Anche l’ex stallino per i maiali, con l’annesso pollaio, è stato conservato ed è situato nella “corte” dove si affaccia anche Casa Elsa. Si tratta del tipico cortile interno ancora in uso in molti paesi toscani, luogo ideale per rilassarsi o per far giocare i bambini.
Sul lato del cortile si affaccia anche un’altra abitazione che non è di proprietà del titolare de “Il Mattoncino”.
Oltre il cortile c’è la zona piscina: una struttura che misura 8x5 metri (profondità 1,2 m). Si tratta si una struttura prefabbricata in parte interrara ed in parte rialzata con una comodissima pedana in legno.
CASA ELSA Ospita 6 persone. Al piano terra, salone con un arco che conduce alla cucina attrezzata e con un camino. Allo stesso piano, una porta conduce sul retro al giardino e ad una pergola per le cene all’aperto nelle sere d’estate. Ancora al piano terra, un bagno con doccia. Al primo piano, camera matrimoniale e secondo bagno, con vasca d’epoca in ghisa. Al secondo piano, a cui si accede attraverso un’antica scala in legno, altre due camere matrimoniali di cui una di passaggio. Vista panoramica sulla corte e sugli spazi verdi.
FIENILE
Ospita 4 persone. Al piano terra, grande spazio living, con divano e cucina a vista attrezzata e affaccio sul giardino. Al primo piano, camera matrimoniale, bagno confortevole con doccia e camera con due letti singoli. Ha grandi finestre ad arco con vista sulle colline.
RUSTICO Ospita 4 persone. Al piano terra, grande salone-living con un camino antico e cucina attrezzata, con mattoni a vista e tessuti in stile country. Salendo una vecchia scala in pietra, nell’ammezzato vi è un bagno con scala interna e ringhiera in ferro battuto, doccia in cotto e piano del lavabo in marmo antico. Al primo piano, una camera matrimoniale con cabina-armadio in mattoni e faccia a vista, e un’altra camera matrimoniale con un decor stile shabby-chic sui toni del malva. Questa abitazione viene locata raramente: solamente quando gli impegni di lavoro del il proprietario gli impediscono di recarvisi.
Il Mattoncino è situato in una posizione strategicamente comoda per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni della zona. Il “Parco di Pinocchio” a Collodi dista 4 km, Lucca 11 km, Pescia 7 km e il Supermercato “Esselunga” a Lunata 7 km.

 IL MATTONCINO It is a typical farm house located on the plain between Lucca and Collodi, and which dates back to the second half of the 19th century. The present owner has refurbished it lately with love and with the intent to maintain its older structure, in line with the traditional Tuscan rural architecture. The façade, has been partly left in stone and bricks. The inside has got wooden beams, terracotta-tiled floors, stone staircases, period fireplaces and a bedroom with decorative frescos. The pastel colours, both inside and outside, from apricot to sage green, from mauve to oxide yellow, remind us of the Tuscan land in all its shades.
“Il Mattoncino” is at the foot of the famous Lucca hills. It was originally divided into three spaces, and then it was turned into holiday flats to be rented weekly. The old stable was turned into the present “Casa Elisa”, to which a second floor was added only later. The cellars, on the contrary, were on the ground floor of “Il Fienile”. The first floor of this flat was once the area where the hay was stored. This floor could be reached only by a steep ladder.
“Il Rustico” is the oldest part of the house where you can still feel the old times’ atmosphere. This flat is used by the owner most of the year and is only let when he cannot go to Tuscany. Also the ex pigsty and the hen house, have been preserved and are located in the “court” where “Casa Elisa” overlooks. It is the typical inner court which is still common in a lot of Tuscan villages. It is an ideal place where people can have a rest and where children can play.
Another house, which does not belong to the owner of “Il Mattoncino”, overlooks the court, on one of its sides.
The swimming pool area is past the court. The pool is 8x5 m (and 1,2 m deep). It is a prefab pool, partly underground and partly elevated with a very comfortable wooden board.
CASA ELSA It can host 6 people. There is a large living room, on the ground floor, with a fully equipped kitchen, and with a fireplace, beyond an arch. On the same floor, a door opens into the back garden and into a pergola where you can take dinner in the summer. There is also a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a period cast iron tub. On the second floor, which you can reach by an old wooden staircase, there are two more double bedrooms, one of which is a communicating room. There is a view over the yard and the green areas.
FIENILE This house can host 4 people. There is a large living room on the ground floor, with a sofa and an equipped cooking area overlooking the garden. There is a double bedroom on the first floor, a comfortable bathroom with a shower and a twin bedroom. The house has large arch windows with a view over the hills.
RUSTICO It hosts 4 people. There is a large living room, with an old fireplace, and a kitchen on the ground floor with red bricks and country style fabrics. By going up and old stone staircase, you will get to the mezzanine, where there is a bathroom with an internal staircase which has wrought iron banisters, a terracotta tiled shower and an old marble washbasin top. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe in red bricks with shutters and another double bedroom with a shabby chic mauve décor. This house is rarely let : only when the owner is busy and cannot go there.
“Il Mattoncino” is in a strategically comfortable position from which you can reach all the most interesting places in the area. The “Pinocchio Park” in Collodi is only 4 km, Lucca is 11 km, Pescia, 7 Km and the Lunata Esselunga Supermarket is only 7 km away. |

 IL MATTONCINO Es handelt sich um ein typisches Landhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, in der Ebene zwischen Lucca und Collodi gelegen. Die derzeitige Besitzerin hat das Haus vor kurzem mit großer Leidenschaft renoviert und hat den ländlichen architektonischen toskanischen Stil beibehalten: Fassade vorwiegend aus Stein und Ziegel, Holzbalken in den Zimmern, Fußboden aus Cotto Fliesen, Steintreppen, antike Kamine und in einem Zimmer sogar Fresken. Die Pastellfarben, innen und außen, von Aprikosenrosa bis Salbeigrün, von Malvenviolett bis Ockergelb, erinnern an die verschiedene Farbtöne der toskanischen Erde.
“Il Mattoncino”, am Fuß der berühmten Hügel von Lucca gelegen, war ursprünglich in drei Einheiten geteilt, die jetzt in Ferienwohnungen umgewandelt worden sind. An dem alten Stall, die heutige Wohnung Casa Elsa, wurde ein Stockwerk zugebaut. In der „ Il Fienile“ waren im Erdgeschoß die Keller und im über eine steile Leitersprosse erreichbaren ersten Stock war der Raum für das Heu. Il Rustico ist der älteste Teil des Hauses und hier kann man noch die Stimmung alter Zeiten spüren. Diese Wohnung ist die meiste Zeit für den Besitzer reserviert und wird nur vermietet, wenn der Besitzer nicht in der Toskana sein kann. Der ehemalige Schweinestall und der angeschlossene Hühnerstall wurden beibehalten und befinden sich in dem Hof, wohin man auch aus Casa Elsa blickt. In diesem typischen Innenhof (noch zu sehen in einigen toskanischen Dörfern) kann man sich entspannen oder die Kinder können spielen. Auch ein anderes Haus, nicht im Besitz der Eigentümer des „Il Mattoncino“, blickt auf diesem Innenhof. Hinter dem Hof ist der Pool (8x5 m, tiefe 1,2 m): Er ist ein teilweise in der Erde eingelassener Fertigbauteil mit einem sehr bequemen Holzpodest.
CASA ELSA Beherbergt 6 Personen. Im Erdgeschoß befinden sich ein Wohnzimmer mit einem Kamin und einem Durchgangbogen, der zur voll ausgestatteten Küche führt, eine Tür, durch die man zum Garten und zur Pergola (für ein schönes Abendessen im sommerlichen Abend) gelangt und ein Bad mit Dusche. Im ersten Stock befinden sich ein Doppelbettzimmer und ein Bad mit einer antiken Badewanne aus Gusseisen. Im zweiten Stock, erreichbar über eine alte Holztreppe, sind noch zwei Doppelbettzimmer, eins davon als Durchgangszimmer. Schöner Blick über den Hof und ins Grüne.
FIENILE
Beherbergt 4 Personen. Im Erdgeschoß befinden sich ein großes Wohnzimmer mit offener voll ausgestatteter Küche und einen Ausgang zum Garten. Im ersten Stock befinden sich ein Doppelbettzimmer, ein Zweibettzimmer und ein Bad mit Dusche. Die Wohnung hat große Bogenfenster mit Blick über die Hügel.
RUSTICO
Beherbergt 4 Personen. Im Erdgeschoß befinden sich ein großes Wohnzimmer mit naturbelassenen Ziegelsteinen und Stoffen in Country-Style, Sofas und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. In dem über eine alte Steintreppe erreichbaren Halbgeschoß, ist ein Bad mit Dusche aus Cotto und Waschbecken aus antikem Marmor. Im ersten Stock befinden sich ein Doppelbettzimmer mit einem begehbaren Schrank mit naturbelassenen Ziegelsteinen und ein zweites Doppelbettzimmer im malvenfarbenen Shabby-Chic Stylel. Diese Wohnung wird selten vermietet, nämlich nur wenn der Besitzer aus beruflichen Gründen nicht hinfahren kann.
Von Il Mattoncino aus kann man bequem alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend erreichen. Der Park „Parco di Pinocchio“ in Collodi ist z.B. nur 4 km entfernt, Lucca 14 km, Pescia 7 km und der Supermarkt “Esselunga” in Lunata nur 7 km. |
