L'azienda agraria biologica "Rotrecine", a pochi km da Ponticello Amiata, nasce nel 1260 grazie all'opera dei monaci dell'Abbazia S. Salvatore che ne detennero il possesso fino al 1786. Negli ultimi due secoli fece parte, prima, dei beni della famiglia Terni, poi della Casa Madre delle suore Stimmatine infine, dopo 30 anni di contado, venne acquistata dalla famiglia Galloni che ne detiene tutt'oggi la proprietà. La casa padronale, intatta nella sua costruzione rappresenta il centro dell'azienda che si estende, con i suoi 70 ha., fino al torrente Ribusieri conservando, ancora oggi, il rudere del vecchio molino ad acqua. Se amate la natura potrete percorrere i sentieri a piedi o in mountain bike e visitare la voliera, il bosco, potrete organizzare un picnic vicino al torrente, ammirare il rudere del vecchio molino o deliziarvi a raccogliere le erbe spontanee. Se amate rilassarvi potrete giocare a bocce o a ping-pong oppure leggere in giardino sotto l'ombra di un albero. Per i più piccoli non dovete preoccuparvi, l'azienda è lontana da strade e pericoli, potranno scorrazzare nel prato. Se amate, invece, la cucina toscana avrete la possibilità di imparare le ricette, la storia e tutti i segreti con il corso di cucina organizzato da Valentina, la proprietaria. L'azienda può ospitare anche cavalli. Tutti gli appartamenti sono dotati di impianto stereo, TV-Sat, telefono e vi regalano una rilassante vacanza lontana dal caos e a contatto con la natura.
A circa 5 mt dall'appartamento "Gli Avi" c'è il ristorante aperto non solo a tutti gli ospiti di Rotrecine ma anche a tutti coloro che, su prenotazione, decidono di trascorrere una serata a gustare i piatti preparati da Valentina.
Una bellissima piscina dalla forma arrotondata (12x6 m), circondata da una serie di pietre sapientemente disposte dalla proprietaria e dalla profondità che varia da un minimo di 1,2m fino ad un massimo di 1,8m, permetterà di rinfrescarvi oppure far divertire i vostri bambini senza alcun rimpianto per il mare. Durante l'estate Valentina affitta la piscina per party o feste di compleanno a chiunque le faccia richiesta.
In azienda si produce un ottimo Olio Extravergine di Oliva.

Gli Avi Ha l'entrata indipendente che si affaccia sul cortile interno dell'antica fattoria. Le finestre, invece, si affacciano sul panorama circostante. L'appartamento ospita 4-5 persone ed è dotato di ampio soggiorno con angolo cottura, camera matrimoniale, camera doppia, bagno con vasca angolare e riscaldamento. Arredato in stile offre una camera particolare con letto a testata imbottita, una romantica cameretta. Il soffitto in alcuni punti è stato realizzato con travi di legno e mezzane, mentre in una delle camere sono state restaurate le vecchie tavole in legno come si usava nel secolo scorso. Nel bagno potrete ammirare un'originale colonna di legno che sorregge il trave portante. La potete considerare un "pezzo di storia": la proprietaria afferma che fu in nonno del nonno a realizzare tale colonna. La cucina è dotata di forno, lavastoviglie e Tv con antenna parabolica. Internamente l'appartamento conta circa 60 mq e all'esterno dispone di uno spazio coperto mattonellato in cotto con tavolo e sedie dove poter far colazione o cenare.

 ROTROCINE The "Rotrecine" biological farm, a few kilometers from Ponticello Amiata, was built in 1260 thanks to the work of the San Salvatore Abbey monks who owned it until 1786. In the last two centuries it was first part of the Terni Family's properties, and then of the Mother House of the Stimmatine nuns. It was later bought by the Gallonis who still own the place. The owner's house, with its intact shape, is the heart of the farm which stretches - with its 70 ha - as far as the Ribusieri stream and still has the ruins of the old water mill. If you love nature, you can walk along the country paths or ride a mountain bike and visit the aviary, and the wood. You can have picnics near the stream, contemplate the beauty the old mill and pick up the self-sown herbs. If you love relaxing, you can play bowls, table tennis, or you can read the newspaper in the garden under the shadow of the trees. You do not have to worry about children, as the farm is far from roads and dangers. They can play in the large garden and have fun. Also, if you love Tuscan food, you can learn the local recipes, their history and secrets by attending the owner's (Valentina) cooking course. The farm can also host horses. The flats have a stereo, Sat TV, and a telephone. You can have a relaxing holiday there, far from the city noise and in close contact with nature. A beautiful round swimming pool (12 x 6m), surrounded by stones cleverly set by the owner, and with a depth ranging from 1.2 m to a maximum of 1.8, will give you a chance of swimming in the cool water and will allow your children to have fun without missing the sea.

Gli Avi This flat has its own independent entrance looking onto the old farm yard. The windows, on the contrary, look onto the surrounding landscape. The flat can host 4-5 people and has a large living room - with a built-in kitchen - a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with a corner bath and central heating. The whole place is finely furnished. The double bedroom has a bed with padded headboard while the twin bedroom looks very romantic. The ceilings are partly made of wooden beams and large bricks. In one of the bedrooms the old wooden boards have been restored and now look the same way as in the last century. In the bathroom there is an original wooden column supporting the main beam. This flat was built by the owners' ancestors. The proprietor's wife asserts that such a column was made by her great grand father. The kitchen has an oven, a washing machine, and Sat TV. The flat inside area is about 60 sq m. There is a covered fire brick paved area outside - with a table and chairs - where you can take your meals.

ROTROCINE Das Bio-Agraranwesen "Rotrecine", wenige Kilometer von Ponticello Amiata entfernt, entstand im Jahre 1260 unter der Mitwirkung der Mönche aus der Abtei San Salvatore, die es bis 1786 in Besitz behielten. Das Herrenhaus, noch unbeschädigt geblieben, steht in der Mitte des 70 ha großes Landguts, das sich bis zum Wildbach Ribusieri erstreckt mit der noch vorhandenen alten Wassermühle.
Wenn Sie die Natur mögen, können Sie die vielen Wege - zu Fuß oder mit Mountainbikes -durchlaufen, das Vogelhaus bzw. den Wald anschauen. Sie können dort auch neben dem Bach picknicken, die Ruine der alten Mühle bewundern und Wildkräuter sammeln.
Wenn Sie ausspannen möchten, können Sie Boccia oder Tischtennis spielen oder im Garten im Schatten eines Baumes lesen. Sie sollten keine Angst haben um kleinere Kinder. Das Anwesen ist weit von Strassen und Gefahren entfernt, sie können problemlos auf der Wiese herumlaufen.
Wenn Sie die toskanische Küche entdecken wollen, können Sie Rezepte, deren Ursprung und Geheimnisse bei einem von der Eigentümerin Valentina selbst angebotenen Kochkurs erlernen. Der Betrieb kann auch Pferde empfangen.
Alle Wohnungen sind mit Stereoanlage, SAT-TV, Telefon eingerichtet und bieten ruhige Ferien weit vom Lärm und in natürlicher Umgebung.
5 m von der Wohnung "Gli Avi" entfernt befindet sich das Restaurant, das nicht nur für die Gäste von Rotrecine geöffnet hat sondern auch für alle, die nach vorheriger Reservierung, einen Abend damit verbringen möchten, Valentinas Gerichte zu genießen.
Ein schöner ovaler Pool (12x6m) mit einer Wassertiefe von 1,2 bis 1,8m, von sehr hübsch von der Besitzerin gesetzten Steinen gesäumt, erlaubt es sich zu erfrischen oder die Kinder zu unterhalten ohne dem Meer nachzutrauern. Während des Sommers vermietet Valentina den Pool für Partys oder Geburtstagspartys. In dem Bio-Hof Rotrecine wird ein hervorragendes "Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva" hergestellt.

Gli Avi Die Wohnung hat einen unabhängigen Eingang, der auf den Innenhof des alten Bauerhofes führt, während die Fenster auf die umliegende Landschaft gerichtet sind. Die Wohnung hat Platz für 4 Personen und verfügt über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Kochnische, ein Schlafzimmer mit Ehebett, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Betten, ein Bad mit Eckbadewanne und Heizung. Mit Geschmack eingerichtet bietet sie ein Schlafzimmer mit gepolstertem Kopfende des Bettes, ein romantisches kleines Schlafzimmer. Die Decke besteht an einigen Stellen aus Holzbalken und toskanischen Ziegeln, während in einem der Zimmer die alten Holzbretter restauriert wurden, wie sie vor einem Jahrhundert üblich waren. Im Bad kann man noch eine echte Säule aus Holz bewundern, die den Tragbalken stützt. Sie ist ein Stück Geschichte: Die Besitzerin erzählt, dass sie vom Ururgroßvater errichtet worden sei.
Die Küche verfügt über einen Ofen, eine Spülmaschine und Sat-TV. Die Wohnung ist ca. 60 qm groß und verfügt außerhalb über einen mit Cotto gefliesten Platz mit Tisch und Stühlen, wo man frühstücken oder zu Abend essen kann.
